Despite the pandemic, vacation rental bookings are rapidly filling for the Christmas season. It’s a fun time with Topes and celebrations.
What’s a “tope”? According to the Tico Times “El Tope is a traditional Costa Rican festival celebrating our history and culture. It is an equestrian parade that is often part of local fiestas.”
That doesn’t capture the scale or the spectacle! But the point is that the Christmas period is just as much of a celebration for locals as it is for international visitors, so demand for rental properties is extremely high.
This is equally true over the Easter period, too. Many of our “snowbird” visitors from Canada and the US don’t plan to return home until late April or May, so remember to book in your dates well in advance.
